«Lithophaone» - 2015 -
Wooden structure, reconstituted scagliola marble, 6 diaphragm speakers, amplifier, SD card reader, 6-minute looped soundtrack, 460 × 120 × 250 cm.
This sound sculpture takes the form of a wall whose surface continuously transmits the sound of falling water and muffled frequencies. The patterns and veins visible on the surface of the "stone block" were created by transmitting sound vibrations through the liquid material before it solidified. The viewer is invited to place their head against the wall to hear the flowing vibrations.
